  1. I just got lateast version of PowerDVD and the playback is awful, the picture and sound is stutterey, I also get this problem in windows media player but only the video is stutery, anyone know whats wrong??


    Comp spec:
    1.1ghz pentium celeron
    256mb ram
    3D graphics intel graphics card
    Samsung 16x DVD Drive

  3. in powerdvd its dvd and mediaplayer is just video in general, could I have a buffer problem?

  4. From files on your comp or playing from a dvd, vcd etc... ?

  5. in powerdvd its dvd cds, but with mediaplayer its any type of video, sounds is fine but video is stuttery.

    Hi andybno1,

    Maybe it's your CPU ie, too slow. I had studder problems w/ a slow 233MHz
    pc and ATI xpert 128 graphics card. Use to studder like crazy when I put
    in the DVD movie, Alien "Resurection" (a rental)

    But, have you checked your DMA, to see if it's [x] is checked ??
    You'll find this under device manager (don't know what it's undre in XP)
    That might be your problem.

  7. I doubt its me cpu as I already said its 1.1ghz intel celeron (just over a yr old) and as for that that dma thing I looked in device manager but could't find it.
