Hi, i have just got into home DVD burning etc..and whilst learning fast from this excellent forum i still need help on some of the basics. I hope someone on here can point me in the right direction...
I am trying to burn some DolbyDigital/DTS screen trailers onto DVD. The trailers are from the following link http://www.cinenow.com/us/vobtrailer.php3 and are in the form of .VOB files and are encoded with DD 5.1/DTS(448kbps). I have successfully downloaded the .VOB files and using Nero6 or TMPGEnc have been able to burn to DVD - however when playing the DVD's on my home machine, the amplifier is reading AC3 2 channel Dolby Stereo. Can someone please tell me in simple terms how i end up with these trailers playing in their correct 5.1 format?? also, can anyone recommend some good quality free download software for doing what i need to do?
Thanks for any help given!
