  1. Hi

I want to put wave files on a DVD like I would with a CD and be able to play them in a set top dvd player. I have read the other posts about using WINONCD6 to create a music album for MP3, thats find but i don't have that software. I have NERO verison 6. Someone posted that you can do this by making a dvd-video? Please can you post a detailed version on how to do this. Because if I can get 80mins (cd quality) music on a cdr then on a dvdr i should get at 480mins (roughly 6.5 cdr to a blank dvd)?

    Help please?

    Thanks

  3. Its simple, use any DVD authoring software that supports background music in menus. Create a menu, add your wav as the background. This can be one great big wav file that is all the tracks, or you can be clever and select tracks with different menus, up to you.

I would suggest DVD-lab for this kind of job.

  4. No it's not practical Bugster is just kidding you.

    Ok This way...
First create a bmp or jpg file Load it to TMPG with your wav> You get an mpg file
Next use an authoring program such as workshop or TMPGDVD Author
Drag them one by one and create menu.Burn as a dvd

    Finished!!

DVD Architect lets you make a music DVD. You can make a menu with track selections etc. The audio will be multiplexed to a VOB file as PCM 16bit 48khz.

  6. Hi,

Your question about audio compilation in DVD has already been commented several times in this audio forum. For example, look at:

    https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=170564&sid=a14a969bdd2ecd56506546eeeaacad2d

In my experience, it is a hard work to author a easy to use DVD with hundred of themes. That is why I prefer, for the time being, only-audio VideoCD. Look for my VideoCD Audio and VideoCD Audio + stills guides at the site:

    http://www.digital-digest.com/dvd/articles/index.html#vcd

Another interesting guide can be found near here, at:

    Good luck.
