    Hi !

I am trying to encode an avi movie using ffmpegX 0.0.7 (c or d) and I keep getting a small movie (35 Mb) whatever setting I try; I am trying to use mencoder codec (avi or xvid). The image is definitely black.
    Here is the log :

If that can help somewhat, I can add that I can still encode some other DVD. I noticed that the DVD I cannot encode (I tried to rip it using Osex and YadeX) only have a VIDEO_TS folder and no AUDIO_TS folder. The DVD I managed to encode have both...

    Does that help?

  3. In desperate cases, get your source as a .m2v file with 0SEx, mux it with the audio and encode the resulting file.

I think I have already tried this solution. Anyway, I will test this again.
But do you mean I should put the m2v video file in the input file field (top of the window), encode with my settings the video, encode the audio separately and then finally mux it?

  5. No, mux it with the audio first and then encode the resulting .mpg
