removal of text on VCD

I have an original VCD, and on the corner it has the WB (like when u watch TV u see a symbol of the station at the corner i.e. CNN) symbol and it also says Ultra VCD on the corner. Iam wondering is there anyway to get rid of the symbols so i can watch a movie that has no symbols.

vdub has a logo filter
where you can add your favorite logo
anywhere you want

To remove logo i think you can only blur them
with another vdub filter

Yes thats correct, the filter is called logoaway

when you use it, select a portion of the screen, use the XY setting, it will first blur then, then adjust the x-y power by blending it onti the movie. very nice but you can tell very slightly that the logo was ever there.

This also works with subtitles too.

is this filter compatible with TMPGEnc, is it available on this site

Just do a web search for the filter, its posted all over the place. You can't use vdub filters directly in TMPGenc but you could frameserv from vdub to TMPGenc. That filter is pretty good but I only use it to edit short clips. If you used it on an entire movie it would be pretty noticable.
