sometime color video, sometime black and white with color part.

i tried everything, install last driver and three differents windows.

Someone has a clue for me ?

  2. First, the audio has nothing to do with the WinTV card if you're captureing using S-video. So, check your sound card. Do not plug line level audio into the MIC input! Plug the audio into Line in and adjust the record level on your sound card.
As for video, select S-video input, NTSC if you're in the US, or PAL if you're in Europe. Adjust your brightness, contrast and color saturation so you get a correct looking image.
Then, start working on your capture program. Select the capture format like video resolution, audio capture format, compression and so on. There are a lot of adjustments that have to be set correctly before you get a good capture. I'm of course assuming your hardware is installed and working correctly.

  3. my picture is looking great when i look in the wintv windows and the sound is correct too.

    My connection are well done.

i'm a pal user so i use pal bg parameter.

but the final mpg is horrible.

A friend told me that when you use vcdconverter just after capture, it normally take +-10 min for a movie (1h30). me, it take 4 hour with my 1600Hz !!!!! Even tmpgenc freeze when i'm trying to convert.

i had made over 800 conversions from divx to vcd, so i'm not so newbie but now, i don't understand what's happen
