  1. Can't seem to get the audio to syc properly when I burn an svcd with nero, I've tried playing with the syc settings on tmpg when I convert to mpeg2 from divx but no matter what I try the audio always seems to lag behind slightly. I'm playing the discs back on a Toshiba SD210 dvd player. Hope someone can help Nick.

  3. Are you converting in nero ?

Does the file play okay before you burn ?

    How are you converting ?

What speed are you burning at ? (have you tried changing this)

Have you tried changing your media ?

  4. The sound starts out behind the video from the beginning. I convert using tmpgenc. The avi and converted mpeg are all fine. The audio and video get out of sync only after i use ifoedit to create vob files.

  8. Going back to the original question ...

I too have a Toshiba SD210 DVD player.

It just does not handle SVCD's correctly. Audio sync problems are widely reported for this unit as you will see under the DVD Players link.

I gave up and bought a DVD burner - NEC 1100 - excellent machine!
