    Hi folks

    Please can anyone help , ive got a Divx film and the lip sync is out, i have used Avidemux before but that doesn't seem to want to play ball with this type of format, can anyone recommend a good program to use??

    a .divx file or avi? try just rename to divx and then use avidemux or virtualdub, see https://forum.videohelp.com/topic316884.html

    Thanks but that didn't work, i renamed it to avi but when i open it up in avidemux it still plays very jerky and i cant save or change any files, any other suggestions??

  4. Did you try virtualdub?

    Also playback in avidemux or virtualdub is not necessarily representative of the final results. They are not good media players. Go through the process, and it should work.

    Is it a constant delay like 1sec all the way through or does it gradually get worse?

    Thanks for the replies

    It is a constant delay, the trouble is i cant use avidemux as the picture stutters so bad that i cant see if i have corrected the lip sync or not, im going to try the classic media player and virtualdub trick, i will post back the results ASAP

    Great news, the virtual dub trick worked a treat, and i cant believe how quick it was too.

    Thanks to everyone for their help and support, i don't use this forum that much but when i do i always get the problems solved, keep up the great work
