First of all let me say sorry in advance if this is not where this sould be or sounds like a real "stupid" question.
If I have a movie in .avi format, and want to know everything about this .avi file: 30 fps or 25 fps, interlaced or non-interlaced, bitrate, and codec used to play, is there some software that will give all this info? I looked in the tools section, so if I missed it, I appologize.

  2. Try gspot. It will tell you just about everything you need. You can also try avicodec wich supports avi and mpg films.

GSpot and AVICodec in the TOOLS section will give you most of this info. If you need to see what type of video you have (progressive, interlaced, IVTC), you will have to learn to identify it ( www.lukesvideo.com )
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
