    Hi, I've got a divx movie but the audio is slightly out of sync. The fps is 23.976 and the audio is mpeg3 115kBit/s 48,000Hz stereo.
    Ive got ulead video studio6 and cool edit pro2.
    Is there anyway to fix the problem with these two programs. And is it better to fix it in divx format or mpeg format?
    thanks.

  2. the 115kbit tells me that the audio is VBR: Variable BitRate

    How to fix that?

    Open the file in Virtualdub (preferable, virtualdub 1.3c)
    Audio: Conversion-> 44100Hz
    16Bit
    OK
    Video: Direct Stream copy
    File => SAVE WAV

    Now, when that is done, you go to AUDIO -> WAV AUDIO
    select the WAV you just made
    File: SAVE AVI
    and you should have a perfect movie
