My setup is JVS SVHS svideo-out > svideo-in Canon ZR45MC > firewire > hard drive.
I'm having some trouble with VHS tapes that are somewhat high gen. Occasionally, the picture will jerk/skew to the right although only on a few horizontal lines.
This happens only when I try to capture the video. If I play the video while the SVHS is solely hooked up to the TV, it plays fine.
Why is this happening?
