  1. I am having some trouble burning an SVCD, or XSVCD. I am using Nero Express 5.5.9, which keeps saying that it isn't properly encoded. I first encoded to MPEG2 720x480 4:3 29.97fps....Auto VBR 2900K max....I did change the audio rate to 128k to save some space ( I have a not-so-great audio setup).....I then cut the resulting MPEG2 file into 3........

Easy way to tell Nero "To Hell with checking just burn the darn thing....?"

    Any thoughts?

  2. Hi Matt, I am new at this but I believe SVCD format is 480 x 480. This is why Nero is asking to re-encode. If you don't own the encoder for Nero download TMPGEnc and this will convert the file for you. I hope I helped.

  3. Same thing happened to me last night but I think the reason might be I haven't purchased the mpeg-2 plug-in from Nero. instead in using dvd2svcd to encode to mpeg-2 the burning in nero direct without express passing me over

Thanks.....I did know this was "standard"......but I have seen several references of people burning with different resolutions.....is this not possible?
