Problems with Nero 5.5 & SVCD

I just installed Nero 5.5.4.0 today and bought the key off
Ahead's website so it isn't a trial version.

When I try to initiate creating a Video CD, the only option I get is VCD, there is no SVCD or anything else.

Anyone seen this before? I thought Nero was supposed to be able to support this stuff.

If you read Ahead's web site, you will see that Mpeg2 support plugin will be available sometime this month.

close out the wizard when nero starts click file ->new->THEN click svcd

I have version 5.535 and have been burning SVCD's now for over 2 months. It will even overburn to 99min., I know, been using the new 99min. CD-R's from COMPUSA.

I used Nero 5.5 to burn a 101 minute movie (Last Man Standing) on one 700 MB CD. The BIN Image was 801, according to nero. Burn, baby burn!! BTW, It was DVD Quality. No Joke.
