    I am using AVI2DVD to try to convert an avi file to svcd. Whenever it gets to the point where it tries to encode with CCE it comes up with this error vinfo_open() failed: Bad data <C:\video\Avi2dvd_temp\Video_Info_file.vaf> I have tried searching for the solution but I can't find anything that works, I have avisynth installed.

    what version of cce? avi2dvd only works with a few versions of v2.67 i believe.

    If you can't get avi2dvd working you can try dvd2svcd. It has an option for avi input.

    The problem was that I was using the wrong version of cce. Thanks for the help.
