I found that in streams past 10 (lang) is truncated.

This patched execeutable should fix it.

EDIT: I found one example. I'l look into it.

    Good morning
I ask if anyone has a script to insert, to convert video files to DPX sequence.
    Thank you

  4. "Quick startup" seems to like enabling itself and it overrides "Disable visual styles". The settings won't hold. I can fix it, save settings, exit, restart the program and it's back to "Quick Startup" even though I disabled that and enabled "Disable visual styles". I'm definitely saving the changes. Am I doing something wrong or is there a bug somewhere?

I'm running version 3.2.1 but I believe this has been happening since you added the quick startup setting disable visual styles setting.

Hi, Quick startup is actually one way or another of disabling visual styles.
If you only check "Quick startup", some Visual Styles are disabled and others preserved".
If you go to "Security and performance" and check "Disable Visual Styles", it is a "hard" Quick startup, disabling all visual styles (uglier but faster).

I understand it could be somewhat confusing.

I get that Quick Startup is a less complete "Disable Visual Styles" but I want to disable all visual styles, Quick Startup isn't what I want. I change the disable visual styles setting and save it and even if it stays checked the result upon the next program start is the Quick Start setting taking effect and not my disabling all the visual styles. It only works when enabled while the software is running. Is there no way to set it to disable visual styles under Performance and have it just stay that way across program runs?

I can't find reproduce any issue with this.

If I disable visual styles under Performance, on restart all visual styles are disabled, and both quick startup and disable visual styles remain checked.

I'll have to experiment on another system. This is just baffling.

    Thanks for the feedback.

No problem, are you using Portable/installer version?

I don't know what is going on but it's getting to where I can't download hardly any files from youtube. I get pop ups saying the yt-dlp will stop support for windows 7 soon. I thought they dropped support for windows 7 months ago which is why I am using a build from October. I am using a build from October 25th, 2025 and wasn't having issues until the FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable start looking to updates my YT-DLP.

I've been trying to use older versions of Batch since they didn't try to update YT-DLP but all of my older versions are looking to update my YT-DLP now. I don't know how that can happen I believe that the updater is what is causing my issues and that if there was a way to turn off yt-dlp update then everything would be back to normal.

I could disable yt-dlp version checking for next release, if you disable automatic updates.

Alright, I'll wait for the next update. Lately, I've just been using yt-dlp-gui.exe with my build of yt-dlp.exe from 10-25-2025 and it has been downloading all the files that will not download in FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable.

FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable has been working fine for all my other tasks. Virtualdub will not open mp4 with opus audio so I've been using FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable and my self made presets to "copy video without audio" and I've been using "no video convert audio to 320k mp3.

Is there a place to share our presets?

Here are a few of mine...

Copy Video No Audio | -c:v copy
    No Video Convert Audio to 320k MP3 | -vn -c:a libmp3lame -b:a 320K -ac 2
    H264UF w/ 320kb MP3 | -map 0 -c:v libx264 -crf 23 -preset ultrafast -c:a libmp3lame -b:a 320K -ac 2
    Copy Video w/320kb MP3 | -c:v copy -c:a libmp3lame -b:a 320K -ac 2
Convert to H264 Ultrafast No Audio | -c:v libx264 -crf 23 -preset ultrafast

I got these three with your help and all the others I got from looking at the default presets and figuring it out.

video to apng | -c:v apng -an -plays 0
    Video to 640:480 Loop apng | -c:v apng -vf scale=640:480 -plays 0
Reverse Video | -vf reverse (I haven't needed to use this one in a while so I'm not sure that it works)

I found a preset for XVID but it encodes to 60 fps and Virtualdub does not accept it because it does not match the XVID codec that Virtualdub uses.

    FFMPEG preset uses -c:v libxvid -q:v 4 -c:a copy

I assumed that was the same as the codec in Virtualdub...

    Any ideas?

Adding this parameter in ffmpeg encoding could do the trick:

    -vcodec xvid -vtag XVID

Thanks! When I get some time I'll check it out.

I've spent all day trying to get all my programs that use yt-dlp version 2024.10.22.0 (the only version left that worked on Windows 7) to work but all of them give the error that Windows 7 has been depricated (I guess that means turned off). Looks like your program gave up the ghost first while yt-dlp-gui.exe held on the longest but now none of my programs will work.

I tried his files before and could not get them to work and after trying again from your link it still did not work but I went back to see if there was a file that I was missing because I had gotten an error message about an a missing dll file and that is where I found a second page with three files for Windows 7 that I downloaded and one was a zip file with all the dll files.

After putting the yt-dlp.exe for Windows 7 64 bit it finally worked. I was afraid it hadn't worked again but it was a message saying that one of the songs on the album I was downloading was drm protected. Strange that only one was.

    Thanks for the help!

The file to download is "yt-dlp_win7.exe", the only thing that is needed to do is to rename it "yt-dlp.exe"

I wasn't sure if I needed the win7.zip file also since I received the missing .dll file error on the May 11th yt-dlp.exe file a couple days earlier so I created a Folder called YT-DLP For Windows 7 and just downloaded all three Windows 7 files.

I always rename the old working file to yt-dlp.exe.old and rename the new file from whatever it gets named when I download the file to yt-dlp.exe. I do this for all the programs that I use it in (yt-dlp-gui, yt-dlp-batch and FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable_3.x.x_x64)

I've been using the new versin of FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable_3.2.3_x64 the last two days and every time I use the batch mux feature, when it's finished muxing the file, it opens up the My Documents Folder even though there are no video files in this folder since FFBatch is the default folder for converted files and My Videos/m38 is default for downloaded files.

It's very frustrating having to close the "My Documents" folder after every muxing task. I don't remember ever having this problem in other versions of FFmpeg_Batch_AV_Converter_Portable.
