Have several counter top CRT TVs and been trying to find a converter and recorder (flash drive) that'll display in the old 480p that these TVs came with. Tried an Aleratek model but the images came out squeezed. The overall picture and audio was actually quite good, though. Does anyone know of a device that'll work on this setup? Thanks.

I'm a bit confused by what you are trying to do.
What's the actual video source that you are wanting to play on the CRTs? Are they TVs or Computer Monitors? Regular Television CRTs only will do 480i, not 480p, though computer monitors will do progressive resolutions, but they also aren't usually going to accept composite or S-Video as a source without a scan converter such as the Extron VSC700 which will down convert most progressive resolutions to 480i.
If the starting videos are already digital, why you would need a PVR to record? Seems like you'd be better off with just converting the digital content to something that can be played via a flash drive on a DVD player, Xbox, etc that has analog output and then just play the content from there maybe.
Could be you are trying to do something totally different though. -
I have some older CRT VHS combo counter top TVs where the VCR don't work anymore but the TV does. They work fine with older digital to analog converters but been looking at these digital to analog converters with a flash drive PVR but they squeeze the image on playback. Want to find a device that'll playback in the correct 480p the TV originally came with. An example is below

Is the only input available on the TVs RF/Coax? Still likely that your best bet will be a DVD player that has USB media playback capability. Probably also depends on the original aspect ratio of your content that you are playing back as well.
I'd still stand by that CRT TVs are almost always 480i rather than 480p unless you have one of the very late EDTVs (Extended Definition) or HD CRTs which is unlikely.
PVR also suggests that you are trying to record something to USB (Personal Video Recorder) which you are not, so that is why I was confused. You want a USB media playback device that either outputs to RF or possibly composite/s-video if your TVs have those inputs. -
I'm probably wasting your time as I do not know the converter to suggest.
I no longer have a CRT TV . I believe my last one failed at least 10 years ago.
When I was recording using a converter box it did not matter much which one I used.
The RCA one I had had the best reception.
I had the converter box connected to my settop DVD recorder & recorded to DVD RW discs.
These played & looked good on my CRT TV.
I guess they could have been ripped & put on a flash drive or HDD.
I do not have any of those DVD RWs but I believe they were Standard DVD format so probably either 480 i or p .
