I'm after some triallers for my Easier-AVISynth package. You'll need a 64bit computer which doesn't have AVISynth Plus installed on it (or are prepared to remove it).

All I've done is collate the various files so that setting up the dependencies is easier.

If you already have AVISynth (and QTGMC) installed and running, this is not for you.

If you're interested, please PM me and I'll give you the link to the Avisynth files and instructions.

Trial expanded to 32bit computers running something other than Win XP.

  3. You might at least want to explain what your 'Easy-AVISynth package' is meant to do, when looking for folks to trash their pc,...

There will be no trashing of any PC. Why such hatred, Selur?

  5. No hatred.
You do not write anything about what you want folks to help with, do what do you expect folks to think?
I mean, most phishing mails share more (fake) info.

  7. One could explicitly load the needed dll using LoadDLL instead of having to copy stuff into a system folder,...

Granted that Avisynth is not the easiest thing to get on with.

So I guess that if something makes it 'easier' then it has some merit. Yet confidence is somewhat shattered when the creater uses the words "Guinea Pigs" in the introduction.

Thus I must concur that Alwyn needs to be more 'open' to attract 'Beta Testers'.

The AVISynth wiki on QTGMC suggests "copying" them into the folders.

Does QTGMC actually run if you use LoadDLL?

    Yes, using:
    Code:
    LoadPlugin("F:\Hybrid\64bit\Avisynth\avisynthPlugins\LoadDll.dll")
    LoadDLL("F:\Hybrid\64bit\Avisynth\avisynthPlugins\libfftw3f-3.dll")
    LoadPlugin("F:\Hybrid\64bit\Avisynth\avisynthPlugins\FFT3DFilter.dll")
works fine. Hybrid does this for 10+years.
Assuming you have LoadDll and FFT3DFilter already loaded through autoloading, you just need to load libfftw3f-3.dll through LoadDLL.
Personally, I use 'ClearAutoloadDirs()' to disable all autoloading and load everything manually (to really know what is loaded).

Ps.: also loading libfftw3f-3 is only needed if you use it.

  15. There is a thread around here with a portable version of AviSynth+ and all the plugins required to use QTGMC(). Here it is:

Yes. That's how I use it.

Well, 'LoadPlugin' for DLL's and 'Import' for AVS's and AVSI's like QTGMC.

I have dev systems, I'm game. (If it makes a mess, not hard to reload OS.)

And if I have anything that can help, I can give it to you.
