  1. When I use VirtualDub to add subtitles when I convert a DivX to VCD and set Frameserve on everything goes well.
But when I try to open the .vdr dummy with TMPGEnc it says "Unable to open or onsupported format".
What can I do? I tried everything what was on the site but nothing happened.
    I use Win98.

    Thanks

    Direct Show MM file reader
    Avisynth/ Virtual Dub script reader
    Avi2(OpenDML) File reader
    Avi VFW Compatibil reader
    TMPGEnc Proj File reader
    Wave file reader
    DVD2AVI Project file reader
    BMP …reader

  4. There's no such option in TMPGenc Environmental settings for an AVISynth/VirtualDub Script reader! Where have you got that one from!

Do you mean the AVI VFW compatibility reader?

Watch out for Read_avs.dll. Copy it to the VFAPI or to the TMPG directory and edit the reg file. Then play around with the priorities, set AVISynth/VirtualDub Script reader to highest priority or uncheck all the others or ???. I can not give a really good advice since I never change the priorities and TMPGEnc will accept the *.vdr files.

  7. Hmmm, this doesn't help me much.
I tried all things which are on the author section on problems.
But none of them seems to work.

Isn't there another way of making permanent subtitles without frameserving?

    Thanks,
    Gonadan.
