Hi,
Currently, I using DVD Slideshow GUI to make slideshow(mpg file) and input into Premiere timeline + AVI files from camcorder via firewire.
On a certain occasion, the audio is out of sync. Never encounter any audio sync issue with AVI file.
Is there any better alternative slideshow for input to Premiere 6.5 ?
Thanks in advance.
Still using XP + Pentium Dual Core.

Found the cause of the problem.
PAL frame rate should be 25 instead of 29.97.
In the process of solving this issue, I manage to improve the workflow.
In DVD Slideshow GUI, save output to .avs format.
Install PremiereAVSPlugin for Premiere 6.5 from here.
https://sourceforge.net/projects/videoeditorskit/
In Premiere, just import the avs file and edit as any AVI file.
I avoid rendering to MPG file in DVD Slideshow GUI.
