  1. Hello,

    I've discovered DVD Slideshow GUI recently and I'm very happy with this software ! But I'm encountering a problem :
    The Subtitles are not visible when I launch previews.

    In fact, I would like to add a transparent slide and add an introduction text to it. However, I would like also to add text to a standard picture.

    I'm using v0.9.5.4.

    So, if someone know what I have no texts in my slideshow...

    Thanks in advance !

  3. Hello,

    Yes, "Subtitle" is checked in the settings.

  4. What OS are you running DSG on?

    The current version of DSG included a new and fast version of vsfilter which handles the subtitles.

    You could try the previous version of DSG with the old vsfilter:

  5. I'm on Windows 7.

    And it's working with the v0.9.5.3.

    I also may have installed VSFilter previously for other works.

    It's working as expected with v0.9.5.3, but if you want me to test something else with v0.9.5.4, you can tell me.

  6. I do not have Win 7(I can only test on: Win 8, Vista and XP), if you want it would be very helpful if you could check if the latest 32-bit version of VSfilter.dll will work on Win 7. You can find it here: https://www.videohelp.com/tools/VSFilter-DirectVobSub When you have downloaded it, you can place it in the 'DVD slideshow GUI/bin' (renaming the old VSfilter.dll first) folder and make a new preview.

  7. Hello,

    Sorry for the delay, I had no opportunity to test earlier.

    So, I followed these steps, and it's working :
    - uninstall v0.9.5.3 ;
    - install v0.9.5.4 ;
    - install VSFilter_2.41.6419_x86.exe ;
    - copy VSFilter.dll from C:\Program Files (x86)\DirectVobSub to C:\Program Files (x86)\DVD slideshow GUI\bin

    Thank you very much for your help
    I hope that my feeback can help you.

    By the way, I'm on Windows 7 64 bits (forgot to mention...) and I installed however VSFilter 33biss, not 64bits.

    Thanks again !

    Best regards

    EDIT : for information, it works on Windows 7 32 bit (without any VobSub already installed)
