Switch to HCenc 2 pass encode rather than one pass. There have been a few reports of issues with one pass.

In the Preferences/audio tab there is an item "force ffmpeg when WAV is > than 4GB"
    Do you have this set?

Try setting the AC3 encoder to ffmpeg (Safe Mode).

Do you have enough disk space on the output drive? Perhaps it's worth getting MrC ( the author) involved in this thread.

  11. You know, my main activity is something else than supporting users trying to convert movies downloaded from dubious origin...

Anyway, the project log file shows several problems:

    1. The ffdshow release (1.0.7) you have installed is outdated. Install the latest stable. Even better, use LAV Filters, it comes with AVStoDVD installer package.

    2. Video conversion was aborted at 43' 48s. Eventually using a more recent ffdshow release (or LAV Filters) may solve this issue. If not, take a look at Help/FAQ/Video/Q3.1

    3. Audio conversion was successful from the attached log file, but then you report another try where it failed. Weird, if the source was the same and the encoding options were not changed. Please check and report the log file always.

    4. The routine to convert the SRT subs from 23.976fps to 25fps failed. That's why you get the SubtitleCreator error message afterwards. Demux the SRT file and send it to me to check it.

    5. Are you sure that the original file is OK? Where did you download it? It is usually very difficult to give support when the source is messy. Sometimes remuxing the problematic source in another container (i.e. mkv) can help.

    Bye
    MrC
