lg dub play on sony

rw discs dubbed on lg rh735t cannot be played on sony rdr-hdc100 dvd player. is there a way to reverse this?

Is it a -RW disc? The Sony only accepts +R/RW.

I wouldn't even know where to buy -RW discs....most likely the disc needs closed or finalized or whatever term LG uses in this scenario. OR it's an older Sony that accepts almost nothing "burned".

will playback -R media. try finalizing the disc. also the brand of rewritable disc can play a factor
in weather the disc will play in your player. also the lazer might be dying thus your player
might have a hard time reading discs or need to be cleaned.

Thank you all who replied. It would seem after reading replies from others that I should change from Phillips, TDK -R/RW to verbatim +R/RW. It would appear that LG 735T will not finalize R/RW discs, -+R only.
