  1. Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and unsure where to post this so many apologies if this is in the wrong section. I've muxed a 5.82 GB MKV file with tsMuxeR (version 1.10.6), inserting my own custom chapters, selecting my output as AVCHD and then burning the resulting folders onto a Verbatim DVD+R DL disc. The problem is that my blu-ray players only recognise the first chapter, the video however plays perfectly all the way through. I've been successful in creating many AVCHD discs before with smaller MKV files, also inserting custom chapters and burning onto Verbatim DVD+R SL discs. Does anyone know if I should be doing anything differently when using DLs? Any help would be much appreciated.

    Many thanks

Load the 00000.mpls file from the burned disc into tsMuxer and see if the chapters are listed.

Do the chapters work when you play it on your computer? Don't burn it unless you check on computer first. The chapter setting is on the Blueray tab. Try burning as BR,not AVCHD.

Use multiavchd to author your mkv files, much easier to set chapters.
    I think,therefore i am a hamster.

  5. I was unaware that such a file existed but will now know what to check before burning, many thanks! Only the first chapter was listed in the 00000.mpls file so I have concluded that I must have entered the chapters wrongly somehow. I've muxed the file again as a BR and AVCHD and noticed that all custom chapters were listed in the 00000.mpls file. All chapters worked when playing on my computer so I burned the BR and AVCHD and they were perfect, thanks. Thanks for recommending multiAVCHD too, looks like this may be useful for burning multiple MKV files onto one disc, which I may do in future.

Thanks again guys, all help much appreciated!
