Hi there, I was wondering if a netbook solution (with an usb sound card) would be enough for recording task...
I don't talk about quality, I know that's depend on the pipeline of ambient, mic, soundcard ADC and so on...
I just was wondering if an Intel Atom cpu would be enough for running a recording software/editing.
You see.. I was thinking about a cheaper solution and probably that's the best choice. Other advantages would be netbooks are quite, and no need of sound proof panels around case...
I will probably go with a RODE/AKG mic + M-Audio Fast Track Pro (usb) + Netbook.
What do you think?
