I have 5 (five) VOB files. Which the properties, in K-Lite, it said to be 720x480.
But when I played the file in Windoes Media Player, it said 853x480.
Why?
I used Compaq CQ40-328TU and Windows Vista SP2

Correct.

And edit your thread title to actually reflect the subject of your post. Maybe something like, "Why Is A 720x480 DVD Played As 853x480?"

Thank you for your help.
In order to convert the VOB file to MKV by using Handbrake (I used the newest Handbrake) what the setting is required? I've tried to convert it with just stated the output to be H264 and Audio 128kbps only ... everything remains default. But the result is a big disappointment ... the picture sharpness is decrease drastically.
Is it possible for having those result just because of this matter?
If yes ... please tell me how to set it properly
