    I find that Vegas Pro 8 apparently won't recognize HuffYuv files. Can something be tweaked so that it will?

    Do you have the Huffyuv codec installed ? If so, Vegas should happily open the files

    If you're using 64 bit Windows be aware that 64 bit programs require 64 bit codecs, and 32 bit programs require 32 bit codecs.

    Codec is installed, the video will play in Media Player Classic, KMedia Player but in Vegas the video loads, the audio doesn't. About the first second of the audio plays and repeats over and over.

    Hmm, I find another huffyuv file will play. Must be something about that first one Vegas doesn't like, though as mentioned above the file plays fine in other apps.
