Hi,
I have the JVC GR-D270 camcorder. I've been using it in combination with an extra objective to get good close-up magnification (about 50x). So with the help of a stand it kind of resembles a microscope.
To make it easier to distinguish small details, I would like to use my PC's display instead of the camcorder's small LCD to view the picture in real time. So I need to find software that has a good quality video capture preview (preferably possible to show in full screen). Being able to capture directly to PC instead of cassette would be a bonus. What would be the best software for this? The camcorder and PC both support firewire, and so far I've used that to transfer videos AFTER they have been recorded to cassette.
