Hi all,
I'm using Sony Vegas pro 8.0, this is the first editor I've ever used, for awhile I was doing fine but all the sudden vegas keeps rendering the entire timeline instead of the clips in the timeline, I have a 8 minute movie and I have the loop region set to 8 minutes, and when I click render I have loop region only checked, but it just keeps rendering forever and the elapsed time goes way past 8 minutes, what am I missing? It was working fine before, how do I restore setting to default and then load a project without it loading the bad setting again? Or how do I stop it from rendering to long?
thanks

It might be "normal" for it taking longer than 8 minutes to render depending if you have an older computer, use effects, HD vs SD footage, multiple passes vs. 1 pass etc... -

I did some tests, when I uncheck the loop region only box and render it only renders whatever clips are there and then automatically stops, so I rendered a couple like that then I checked the loop region only box, but when I click the loop region only box and render it does the opposite it renders way beyond the loop region it just keeps going.
