Encoding .mov -> .mpeg2 with Cleaner5

I've got a 667MH Powerbook G4
Is it REALLY going to take Cleaner5 14+ hours to convert my .mov file to mpeg2??
Any faster way? How much faster can encoding get?

Use with OSx the stuff at "http://homepage.mac.com/rnc/" to convert your movie to mpeg-2 or ffmpegx at "http://homepage.mac.com/major4/.cv/major4/Public/ffmpegX_0.0.2.dmg.gz-binhex.hqx"

This is really faster!!!

There is a Hardware solution that you can get, I think it is a PCI card that has 2 G4 processers on it that will compress video at real time, but I goes for hefty price. and uses a special edition of cleaner that supports it.
