  1. i want to create a menu in vcdimager with only the numeric key 1-2, 5-6 and 0 used. anyone knows if it`s possible to leave out a number of numeric keys like this in menus using vcdimager?

    maybe by defining more than one <bsn>, like this:

    <selection id="select-mainmenu">
    <bsn>1</bsn>
    <select ref="play-track1"/>
    <bsn>5</bsn>
    <select ref="play-track2"/>
    </selection>

    or is something like this possible:
    <selection id="select-mainmenu">
    <bsn>1</bsn>
    <select ref="play-track1"/>
    <select ref=""/>
    <select ref=""/>
    <select ref=""/>
    <select ref="play-track2"/>
    </selection>

    thanks, ben!

  2. I would not consider myself a vcdimager expert (yet, maybe in the future), but based on the document describing the XML file, the bsn defines the base selection number specifying the first numerical choice. I believe that it should (could?) only be defined once. If this is true, then the first method, should not work. The second method, I am not sure of, hvr would be much better at answering this question. Hope this helps a little.

  3. the second approach is the one to go with... but it works only with 0.7.8 and later...

    btw, you can just write it <select /> instead of <select ref="" />

    ps: also checkout the latest 0.7.9pre...
