    I have a major problem.

    Movie (Xmen), format AVI.
With virtualdub i merged subtitles with it, then i use "frame server" and
    save the file as xmen.vdr

Then go to TMPGEnc en load the saved file (xmen.vdr) in video-source.

The following error-messages apears : "can not open, or unsupported"

I followd the tips on this site (EDIT) but it didn't work.

I Use virtualDub (version 1.4.10) en TMPGEnc (version 2.56.39.143)

    Annyone some suggestions ??

Did you download the TMPGEnc plugin, and did you activate it?

Go to the download section of the TMPGEnc site. There are two files to download. 1= the TMPGEnc program, 2= the TMPGEnc plugin. Open (after download) the plugin in the same folder as TMPGEnc is stored, and execute it; this should activate the plugin.............

Which filter are you using in Virtual dub? Is there no preview option? This way you can check if the subtitles are correctly displayed
