  1. the source is mpe2 video with cbr mp3 audio. the output you show is an uncompressed rgb .avi with no audio. not sure what you set the output to but that isn't usable. try importing your source into avidemux and setting the video to mpeg 4 avc (h264) the audio to aac(faac) and the format to mp4 and see if it makes a usable output.

  6. looks like the video bitrate is way too low. start over with avidemux and your source. select video/ mpeg4 avc again. now click configure under it. in the bitrate tab click the down arrow for encoding mode. select constant bitrate. make it around 1500. set your audio and format types and re-render.

    see how that looks.

  10. not sure what the heck the question is. you already compressed it to mpeg4. you should not re-compress it again.

Photobucket won't let me upload it using the format, video, and audio codecs you had me convert to !
Gspot tells me that the video codec is AVC1

  13. hehe. try this. take your source .mpg and import it into avidemux. set video to copy. set audio to ac3. set format to mpeg-ps(a+v). name the file with the .mpg extension when saving. make sure it plays on your computer and then try to upload that.

  19. ooops. i just re-read my post for you a couple back where i said use aac audio. that should have been ac3, i'm sorry about not catching my mistake before. mp2 or ac3 should work ok in mpeg videos, but not aac. i'll edit that post to say ac3 now just in case anyone else reads this.
