1, load AVI into Vdub and scan for bad frames.

Video > Scan video stream for errors
1b If it finds bad frames,
    Video >Direct Stream Copy and
Audio > Direct Stream Copy and
SAVE AS, save out another copy of AVI

2, Now that the AVI is junk free, Browse and select AVI for use in TMPGENC.
2b Select options > environmental settings
2c click the VFAPI plug-in tab
2d right click the "DirectDraw" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
    2e, browse for output filename.

3, Click load button, and open a VCD template (PAL or NTSC)
    3a, click start
3c, after 3 min click stop and test your mpeg
3d, if its fine click start to convert the whole movie

4, if there is Audio sync problems go back to Vdub
    4b, load AVI into Vdub
4c, select Audio > full processing
    4d, select audio > conversion
    4e, check the 44.1Khz
    4f, SAVE WAV

    5, reload TMPGEnc
5a,(Browse) use AVI for video source
5b,(Browse) use WAV for Audio source
    5c, click start
5d, click stop after 3 min and test your mpeg
5e, if its fine, click start to convert the whole movie

    6, well thats something else
