  1. I have about 6 avi movies about 700mb each, but cannot join them in VirtualDub and also VirtualDubMod as it says they are different sizes How can I get them all the same size. As I notice 1 is 448x336 and another is 464x352, & 496x338 etc

    You have two choices.

Either load them into a NLE where resolution isn't an issue, or choose a single size and re-encode all the other clips until they match up. When doing this, make sure that everything else matches as well - framerate, audio format etc.

    NLE : Non-Linear Editor

Vegas, Premiere Pro, Media Studio Pro, VideoStudio etc.

These are pretty much resolution independent. The better ones will allow you to resize each clip individually until you get a fit.

Otherwise, load each into virtualdub in turn, resize and save to a lossless codec (Lagarith, Huffyuv etc), then join and re-encode to something smaller.
