  1. I have some ntsc videos that someone from the USA filmed, now the fileformat theyre in is .dv. since virtualdub cant open these files normally I went by the avs route and they could be opened correctly, so I figure that theyre quicktime .dv files. no surprise if the guy used a mac...

    now I need to open the vids in vdub cause I gotta apply some filter to it, and when I do this via avisynth I can open the files, but I cant save them with a DV codec cause for unknown reason and even though the material is in standard DV resolution, it seems to me that vdub cant use a DV codec if the source isnt DV avi most of the times.

    any ideas for a workaround here? I might just change the mov .dv files to avi .dv files before I start, so vdub would prolly work right, but I wouldnt know how to change mov to avi like this...

    what dv codec are you using in vdub?

  3. tried with sony dv and mainconcept dv codecs, both made the same problem
