I have some merged VOB files. These files play fine through Media Player Classic. However, when I try to compress them to Xvid/Divx (using no less than 10 different tools) I am completely unsuccessful. Most tools don't error out but simply don't complete the conversion.
I suspect that the problem has to do with the pre-merged VOB files but I am not sure. I don't have the original VOB files (and associated IFO files).
any ideas are appreciated.
thanks

Let AutoGK take care of converting from the unmerged VOBs (load the ifo). If your rip is OK, AutoGK will handle it.
