Hello
How do you capture video using the firewire card on soundblaster audigy platinum? For some reason XP doesn't see the capture driver.
Thanks in advance.

How do you mean, doesn't see the capture driver....???
The device you want to capture from MUST be giving a signal out, BEFORE you start the program you wish to capture from, so for a DV camcorder, you must put it into view mode (or whatever) and play the tape back. Then start the software, and it *should* then see the device and allow you to capture video
Hope that helps -
The audigy dv driver, upon installation, gives me a "OS not compatible" error message. This seems strange, seeing as how audigy is a new card, and xp came out beforehand.
I tried starting premiere after I started the camera in view mode, still no luck.
thanks for replying so fast. -
Kinda sounds like a Windows issue as opposed to an issue with the card itself or difficulty in using it.
I'd call M$ or Creative Labs.
