Hi,
when i try to activate filters in virtual dub, i see no difference in the picture whatsoever (even the inverted colors filter). Also, I want to compress into divx on the go because 4 sec of video is taking up 70mb. (when i capture without compressing in codec, i get an error when i try to play the video file)
Any advice as to how to fix these problems?
thanks a lot

capture into divx is possible, but normally you'll get better results capturing into something like HUFFYUV or mjpeg, though the files will still be large (20 - 30 gig for a movie). Might check the v/dub forums for info on filtering, the divx site for info on capture.
