I don't know where to post this but anyways I'll just do it here.
I just made a scan of my pc using spybot, adaware and pestpatrol. The first 2 proggy mentioned didn't find any thing but pestpatrol found this in the DVDFabDecrypter folder:![]()
Is this something to worry about?

Although some people seem to go on about this as a "Norton" problem i have never ever had this problem on any of my 3 systems running with norton ISP 2004 & 2005.
Personaly, no, i would not worry about it
If anything, maybe turn off the auto check for updates, as it prob. runs in the background.
I always turn off such options on all software & it's usually blocked by my firewalls also.
What version of DVDFab Decrypter do you have right now ? -
Thanks for the input
I'm running DVDFabDecrypter 2.9.7.2.
I don't think this is a norton problem. Pestpatrol found this. -

I would just shut off the auto check option. it may take care of it, it may not ?
But i would not worry about it as it seem's to just be some conflict/glitch in whatever program. -
it's a norton problem

Before this gets too carried away, Pest Patrol will report any file with the name of unins000.exe as a trojan. I never trusted pest patrol because of it's false reports such as these. It doesn't interpret info or inspect the contents of a package before reporting a problem. To the uninformed this might look like your favorite software install contains virii, worms, or other nasties.
Perform a Virus scan on this uninstall file to see for yourself. There is no trojan active within. Pest patrol reports it only because it's programs told it that unins000.exe is part of a trojan virus package called alpha cleaner.
For the record, I wouldn't trust Norton with any files. -
