I want to ask an opinion.

I downloaded a program A in two CDs: CD1 and CD2. I began to install with CD1. Immediately before the end of the CD1 my AVG Free announced " Threat ..... trojan virus ... ". CANCEL, ??? , IGNORE. I ignored and the installation continued and ended.

After that I scanned the whole PC with the AVG and the result was : "No infection was found during this scan".

And now? Can I feel trusting my PC has no virus?

    Thank you for your help.

    Cheers.

Did this first Cd have a crack on it?
Virus scanners often detect cracks as viruses even if they aren't........ however lots of cracks do have viruses.

You can always try doing an online scan from one of the larger commercial genuine virus scanner companies, most are free (try NOD)

    OK, Darkknight145.
It was indeed a crack infected. But I replaced it by another crack and didn't appear any threat.
    Thank you and cheers.

You may want to read those big red letters right above where you type your posts...
