    Alright, I have a new Hauppauge PVR 150 and I can no longer use my Intervideo WinDVD Recorded. I loved that program!

    What should I use to capture that is relatively the same quality and/or what codec should I use?

    You can only capture in MPEG2. So you don't need to choose a codec.
    I use WinTV 2000 and it does the job for me.
    GB-PVR (free) and BeyondTV are used by a lot of people too.

    These are about your options, yes. There's a recorder without UI too - Think I found it via www.shspvr.com
