I produced some DVD (data) videos for my trading courses and sent out about 30 at one time. I had several people who were unable to play it on their PC. It has an autorun feature via Camtasia. Is there such a thing as software that a person can drag the video file on to and it tells them what codec they need to download from the net based on their operating system. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Paul

When you produce a video using a codec, that codec must be installed on the computer where you view the videos.
Have look at Techsmith support here : http://techsmith.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/techsmith.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=15...i=&p_topview=1
Good luck
