    I downloaded the Huffyuv Codec and installed it...
    In normal mode I can see the codec at Virtual Dub but as soon as I switch to Capture mode, and like to choose a compression the Huffyuv codec doesn't show up... Any ideas?!

    Do any codecs show up at all? If you're trying to capture from a firewire port, VirtualDub may not be able to do that. I haven't been able to get it to recognize any codecs when I try to capture from firewire, even though a screenful show up when in normal conversion mode.

    What format are you capturing under YUY, RGB24,... certain codecs do not appear with certain formats.

    Thanks, the solution was that I had RGB 32bit format, now I changed it to 24 bits and now I can see the codec!
