Hi, just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows 7. Downloaded virtual dub and ffdshow. I know they are both installed correctly because I'm able to use VD and I was able to go into the VFW configuration settings of ffdshow and tweak it. The problem is that the ffdshow codec doesn't show up when I try to compress a video in the video compression settings of VD. What am I missing?

    thank you

  2. Under 64 bit Windows: 64 bit applications require 64 bit codecs. 32 bit applications require 32 bit codecs. The two don't mix.
