  1. Hi I have a problem when I open a file in VirtualDubMod to extract the audio it says can't find a way to decompress it. However I can play the file and the audio works fine. In GSpot it says it's DSAT wave audio. So does anyone know where I can find that codec. I looked in the forum but this: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=265485&highlight=dsat
is all I found and that doesnt work. Any help would be appreciated.

VirtualDubMod requires an ACM decoder. Quite possible that there isn't one.

  5. I'm trying to decompress it to wave to then recompress it to AC3 to burn onto a DVD. Anything?

Well if the link was to a dshow/DMO decoder then graphedit as suggested would work.

Although from your reply maybe it is an ACM decoder? If so then it really should work with VirtualDubMod.

  7. I just installed a ACM decoder and it still says it can't find a way to decompress it. Also what does graphedit do?

  8. With graphedit you can lad the direct show filter installed in your PC and you can use them to decode, reencode and multiplex many kind of file (e.g.: you can convert an avi to mp4, or an mpeg2 to avi, or whatever you want).
