New Orleans is the first city to attach Fiber Optic Lines to Sewer Lines!

Upgrading the City's sewer system, found a way to improve not only the sewer sytem but put in new communications lines.

It seems like a strange combo but it makes sense to put the two together since the City could use improvement on both and doing them together saves time and money. It will also bring in money for the City.

I would think that every time they have to do a sewer line repair they stand a good chance of ripping out the fiber optics.

I wonder if Heavy Internet traffic will have any affect on Toilets backing up.
