  1. I capture digital streams with my HDTV tuner card and compress them to Xvid and mp3 audio using VirtualDUB. But now I'd like to keep the 5.1 ch ac3 audio. How do I do that? I could not find any guides. Thanks.

    Hello,

You can stip out the ac3 audio in virtualdub in stream processing under the audio tab. Then use TMPGENC to convert the xvid to mpg. From there use a program like tmpgenc dvd author and insert your new mpg video and your seperated ac3 audio file. This will create a dvd with 5.1 audio.
