    I have MMC 7.5. I can hear sound if just playing TV. However, whenever I try to record I get no sound. I have no idea what the problem is. I'm using Win2k. I check that input is selected with volume control (recording). Please help.

    What kind of sound card?

    Need to make sure line in is selected to record an not muted.

    I'm using a Aureal Vortex 2 (diamond version). Line in is selected and not muted. Thanks

    I too have the same problem with my AverTV card, my soundcard is an SB Live!. Any help from the experts would be appreciated.

    Try opening the audio volume control, and view the recording properties (Options->Properties->Recording), you can then view/change the input that is currently being used for capture.

    I uninstalled and reinstalled the software. It was the only thing I hadn't tried and it worked (just made sure to do a thorough uninstall). Thanks everyone
