  1. Hi
I would like to know what should be the best configuration of CCE or TMPGEnc, although I use CCE, to convert mpeg1 files to mpeg compliant DVD.
I have a lot of mpeg1 files and their resolution is 352x288 more or less, so what should be the best settings for converting to mpeg2 and achieve the best quality?
    Thankx

The best setting is not to convert at all! The resolution you quote is already DVD compliant for PAL. If the framrate of those video is 25fps and the bitrate less than 1800 kbps the video is already DVD compliant. The audio needs to be at 48khz sample rate though, so that may need to be converted. Some authoring apps such as DVDLab and Tmpgenc DVD Author will do that for you when you import the mpegs.
