    I'm having problems burning some avi files to dvd. I downloaded several movies in avi format (Matrix for example). I tried converting them to mpeg using TMPGEnc. Both the downloaded avi and the newly encoded files do not play video or audio. Any help???

    I'd suggest concentrating on getting the AVI to work first. If the AVI doesn't work and then you re-encode it chances are the MPEG wont.

    Check things like the codecs you've got installed. Repost with any error messages Mediaplayer might bring up in the bottom left hand corner. Try searching through the forums once you find out where the problem lies.
